Marketing Elements is headed by its founder Dr. Rosalind Wyatt. Rosalind has a Ph.D. in Marketing from the University of Houston and is a LEED AP. With nearly 20 years of strategic marketing experience, her consulting focus is green and sustainable business.
Rosalind's approach to marketing strategy is influenced by her undergraduate education in engineering. Her philosophy is that marketing is a science, not merely an art. She believes that strategy decisions should be based on solid data analysis and not simply gut reactions. The key she says, is to be informed by the data, yet not completely driven by it. Data and analytics tempered by experience and industry knowledge should be used to guide and grow a business.
In addition to curating Marketing Elements, Rosalind is the founder of Sustainable Houston, a group that is devoted to strengthening the Houston business community through encouraging people to support local and sustainable businesses. She has consulted with a number of businesses in developing their marketing strategies and believes in empowering marketers first by educating them so that they can make good decisions in both the short and long term.
